Silver tetrobol, NYMPH Histiaia, North Euboea, Greece, c. 267 - 146 B.C.

Silver tetrobol, BMC Central Greece p. 128, 34 ff. (various symbols), 1.035g, 12.9mm, Histiaia mint, 3rd Cent B.C.; obverse head of nymph Histiaia right, wreathed in vine, hair rolled up; reverse "ISTIAIEWN", nymph Histiaia seated right on stern of a galley holding naval standard, ornate apluster, wing ornament on hull, trident head and symbol below.

There are many reasons why I acquired this coin, one of which is the psychometric read on it, but the other is the nymph Histiaia, an important figure in the Mystery Schools of ancient Greece. A nice psychometric piece, good "buzz", absolutely excellent for Objective Prayer and other invocations when used on a proper altar.

Having had a chance to work with this coin, I can now say that it is a choice piece for long-range connections, great for visuals and auditories of ancient life and times, and if you had a powerful hit when you passed your mouse over the image, this might be a coin you carried in a prior lifetime.
