MINT ERROR -- Aurelian, August or September 270 - October or November 275 A.D., Roman Provincial Egypt

Billon tetradrachm, Dattari 5488; Geissen 3095; SNG Cop 884, BMC Alexandria p. 307, 2369 var (obverse legend, probably in error), nice VF, 7.404g, 20.1mm, 0o, Alexandria mint, 29 Aug 274 - 28 Aug 275 A.D.; obverse "A K L DOM AURHLIANO"C C"EB", laureate and cuirassed bust right; reverse ETOVC S (year 6), eagle standing right, wreath in beak, palm across shoulder; a STUNNING looking coin, psychometric read is good, and it is a Mint Error! The eye-appeal is very, very high in this example. A bit pricey as these coins go, but the MINT ERROR is worth the extra in my opinion, which is why I acquired it in the first place.
