The other day I saw ancient gold jewelry. Truly ancient 3000 year old jewelry, museum grade. It's amazing to see what we humans were capable of so long ago. I would not ear those earrings - they are too irreplaceable. There is a special feeling you get from knowing something has been worn thousands of years ago. One can't help but wonder how many hands it's passed through, what kind of a journey it had. What was the life of the woman like 3000 years ago when she wore them? There is a connection with all of humanity and our lives through time that happens when ancient style jewelry is worn with that kind of consciousness, a form of admiration as well as compassion to hold and honor our journey here on this planet. I see the craftsmen working to make beads and jewelry and the women wearing it, walking in their homes, whether it's a palace or a simple hut.

Wearing ancient style jewelry with a certain consciousness changes how you feel, a power comes in and a confidence and you somehow get bigger, uplifted and more graceful. It does not take exquisite ancient gold earrings or an elaborate ancient necklace with the most iridescent ancient beads to connect in this way. A simple bead will do the same, or a piece of jewelry the ancients could have made with their hands, tools, knowledge and ingenuity.
