Yang-Shao Coil-Built Terra-Cotta Pottery Fragment, 10,000 B.C. predates the Lung-Shan wheel-thrown pottery by at least 5,000 years.
This has been with me since 1967 when I acquired it from Bill Enking, art historian at Otis Art Institute.
