Created from a lot of rubies; didn't keep track of exactly how many carats of stones went into this piece; It's made precisely in the same manner as I made the original over 7,000 years ago.
The metal beads are gold-filled and the wire is also gold-filled, but you can have this made in solid silver for the same price, or in 18k gold for an additional several thousand dollars -- the price will vary depending on the gold market -- if you wish.
As it is, it is priced according to the workmanship in it, the design and the rubies.
